Fear and Loathing

There are many things to be said for Las Vegas; most of which you've probably heard before. Even if you haven't been there, you'll have some supposed inclination for what it means to be standing on that strip of lights and grand themed hotels amongst thousands of other humans. It's impressive sure. And yes, you'll gaze starstruck at this man-man supposed 'Disneyland for Adults'. But do not be mistaken. Las Vegas is a treacherous place, full of debauchery and seediness and if you do not have a firm grasp on your moral standing, you will get roped into the heathenism that readily presents itself to you at every turn. All that said, you can see and do so much here, fulfill any whim of your choosing. From unbelievable water fountain shows, to theater extravaganza's of every genre, any drink of any form at any time to over-the-top pool party's, it truly is a place where people come to lose themselves for a day or three. And believe us, 3 day's in Las Vegas is about as much as any sane human could endure. Our home was the centrally located Flamingo Hotel. We were fortunate enough to meet good friends from St Francis; Jess and Lloyd and were shown a truly memorable evening along the strip, ending with streetside Karaoke at 4am. We attended Cirque de Soleil with Andy and Megs, braved the heaving pools during the day and explored the hotels and bars by night. We've since been asked whether we would recommend Vegas to anyone. The answer; probably not. But should you go anyway and see for yourself; absolutely yes.
What lies just beyond the lights and decadence

It's really just a long line of hotels in the desert. Or is it?
